Choosing a GA Student Apartment Over Living in a Dorm Is Definitely Smart
Colleges will try and talk you into living in a dorm room on their campus because they are the ones who collect the rent for it. Living in student housing in Statesboro, GA is generally a much better idea. However, it probably isn’t your best choice.
No Leaving
Unfortunately for dorm dwellers, they will have to leave campus during major holidays and summer months at many colleges. This means they either have to find someplace where they can crash or move back in with their parents temporarily. This can play havoc if you have a job at the same time you are going to school, and it is inconvenient in many other ways as well. When you choose to live in your own student apartment, this is not anything that you will have to worry about. You can stay until your lease is up and even longer if you choose to renew it.
More Security
While there is security in place at colleges, it can seem lackluster compared to the security offered in student housing in Statesboro, GA. Most modern buildings have electronic key cards that only allow the holder to enter. Some may even have security on-site. This is obviously much safer than simply relying on an RA to monitor everything in the dormitory.
